Who we are

A non-profit platform for African authorship across policy, governance and public narrative, constituted in Ghana.

Vision & mission
Our vision

An Africa whose policies, institutions and stories are authored by Africans.

Our mission

To advance African authorship across policy, governance and public narrative, connecting high-level strategy to practical implementation so African leaders and institutions can set priorities, turn policy into governance that works, and tell their stories on their own terms.

Our founding idea: African authorship

African authorship is the idea underneath everything Eagle’s Cliff Africa does. It is broader than media: it means African people and institutions shaping the policies, systems, knowledge and narratives that influence African futures.

Policy, institution-building and media are the ways we advance it.

Four pillars

Institutional Rigor

We apply management consulting and administrative standards to public and private governance.

Resource Sovereignty

We champion local value addition, domestic ownership and the strategic management of African wealth.

Narrative Agency

We elevate African ideas, expertise and lived experience in public dialogue, beyond headlines and toward long-form, constructive nation-building.

Ethical Stewardship

We ground leadership in integrity, accountability and public value.

Our approach

Most think tanks publish papers. Most advocacy groups run campaigns. Eagle’s Cliff Africa joins strategic media platforms directly to management administration, so that policy frameworks earn the public trust, institutional capacity and operating structure that lasting reform needs.

Institutional reform that is never explained to the public rarely survives a change in government. Narrative work that is not grounded in administrative rigor rarely moves past commentary. We hold both to the same standard, and we speak in a measured, incisive and non-partisan voice.

Governance

We run a dual-tier governance model, with authority held by an independent board from the outset.

Board of Trustees

Sets long-term strategic direction, oversees legal compliance and protects non-partisan integrity. The Board is independent of, and not chaired by, the Founder.

Executive Director

Leads daily management, strategic partnerships, media engagement and institutional alignment.

Advisory Council

A non-governing body of industry leaders, policy experts and scholars who give domain guidance across our three units.
